The Driver​

Canberra Airport engaged JLL to design, lease, and manage Collab Brindabella, a new coworking offering within Brindabella Business Park. Opening in November with a $4 million fit-out, this 1,400 square metre space addresses unmet demand for flexible workspace outside Canberra’s CBD, particularly serving public sector contractors, government-linked businesses, and interstate professionals near the airport precinct.

The Solution​

  • Canberra Airport partnered with JLL to deliver Collab Brindabella, occupying 1,400 square metres over two levels at 6 Brindabella Circuit South within the established business park precinct.

  • The $4 million fit-out delivers 186 work points, office suites, meeting rooms, a podcast studio, event space, and ground floor client engagement zone, with flexible membership options from casual to long-term.

  • JLL was appointed under a full-service white-label management agreement, allowing Canberra Airport to retain control of the brand and experience while leveraging JLL’s flexible workspace expertise.

  • Collab Brindabella strategically fills a market gap outside Canberra’s CBD, targeting public sector contractors, government-linked businesses, and interstate professionals in a precinct home to 140 organisations and 20,000 workers.

  • The space integrates with Brindabella Business Park’s existing amenities including fitness facilities, dining options, and conference facilities, creating networking opportunities unique to Canberra’s coworking market.
