The Driver​

When a flex operator unexpectedly terminated their lease and departed, it presented an opportunity for the Flex by JLL Team in the US to create a fresh asset strategy solution. The primary focus for the flex space was revenue generation and increasing occupancy levels for the entire asset.

The Solution​

  • Shorenstein partnered with the Flex by JLL Team to operate ~27,971 sq. ft. of flexible workspace branded as “The Pitch”.

  • Minimal capital investment was required to take over the operation of this space, growing the occupancy in 6 weeks from 0% to over 40%.

  • The Flex by JLL Team signed a larger flex customer to occupy 4,800 sq. ft. of space, reconfiguring an area of the space to accommodate 140 of the customers employees.

  • Responding to the increasing demand for meeting space rentals in the market, The Pitch has capitalised on this opportunity by transforming offices within their space into versatile meeting rooms, using mobile AV equipment.
